Padelthis is an iPhone and Apple Watch app that records your padel matches: the score you tap on the watch, the workout around it, and — if you film your matches — the video clips cut from your own footage.
The short version: your data stays on your devices. Padelthis has no user accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no servers of ours. We cannot see your matches, your heart rate, your motion data, or your videos. The only information that ever leaves your device is the minimum needed to process an App Store purchase, described below.

Match and score data. Rallies, points, scores, shot types, starred moments, match dates and durations. Stored locally on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Match data recorded on the watch is transferred directly to your paired iPhone using Apple’s device-to-device connection; it does not pass through any server of ours.
Health and workout data (Apple Health). With your permission, the app reads your heart rate and active energy during a match session and saves the finished match as a workout to Apple Health. This data is handled under Apple’s HealthKit rules: we never use it for advertising or marketing, never share it with third parties, and it never leaves your devices through us. You can withdraw access at any time in the Health app or Settings; Padelthis still works without it.
Motion data. During a match workout the watch can silently record wrist-motion sensor data. Its only purpose is to develop on-device automatic rally detection, so future versions need fewer manual taps. Motion files are transferred only to your paired iPhone, stay there, are never uploaded anywhere, and are deleted when you delete the app.
Your video. With your permission, the app accesses your photo library so you can link a match recording. Where possible the app references the original video without copying it; videos you import from elsewhere are stored in the app’s local storage. All cutting, score overlays, and highlight reels are rendered entirely on your device.
Playtomic imports. If you share a Playtomic match or result into Padelthis, the shared text (venue, date, time, level, player names, score) is parsed and stored locally on your device, only to label and score your recorded match. Padelthis is not affiliated with Playtomic and sends nothing back to it.
Payments for Padelthis Pro are processed by Apple through your App Store account, using Apple’s own StoreKit system — the same one every App Store purchase uses. We never receive your name, email, address, or payment details. Whether you own Pro is checked on your device from your App Store transactions; no purchase-infrastructure service or server of ours is involved.
Clips, highlight reels, and result posters exist so you can share them — via the iOS share sheet or a direct hand-off to Instagram Stories. Nothing is shared unless you explicitly export it, and anything you share is then governed by the terms of the service you share it to.
Your device backups (iCloud or computer) may include Padelthis data, like any other app’s data. Those backups belong to you and are governed by Apple’s terms.
Everything lives on your devices: delete a match in the app to remove it, or delete the app to remove all app data. Workouts saved to Apple Health remain there until you remove them in the Health app. We retain nothing remotely, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Padelthis is not directed at children under 13, and since the app collects nothing off-device, no personal data of any user — child or adult — is gathered by us.
Under GDPR and similar laws you have rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability. Because your data never reaches us, you exercise all of these directly on your device — everything the app knows is already in your hands. If the app’s data practices ever change (for example, if optional cloud sync is added), this policy will be updated here with a new date, and material changes will be called out in the app’s release notes.
